Community Composting

Today we started composting at Winnal Community Garden, FirmstoneRd.

Last week we built 3 compost bins out of pallets and are looking forward to helping winnal community centre make their community garden a success!

A few weeks ago Gemma, Katie, Joe, Daniel and Callum visited Badger Press printing studio in Bishops Waltham. With our home made frames at the ready we used the Badger Press equipment to expose our drawings onto the screens.

It was a big success and we have been printing at our workshop ever since!

Screen Printing

This week have exposed some of our images no to screens. People havebeen trying screen  printng for first time. We have had some great reults we have tred  tried different colours.

We are looking forward to framing some of the art work using our new mount cutter in the next couple of weeks we will expose more of our images onto our screens. It is very exciting.

X MAS SPROUTS 2013

It's been  a great growing season at our allotment and all our hard work earlier in the year has paid off! Some of our fruit and vegetable success stories beetroot, peppers tomatoes, courgette, chilli, garlic, beans, spinache and raspberries!

Wonderful day at Wiseley!

On Monday we visited Wiseley gardens in Surrey we had a wonderful day.There was much to see we did not manage to see everything.

There were so many colourful and interesting plants to look at and smell!

The rose garden was particularly smelly! In a good way of course…

Other highlights were the wild flower meadow and the tropical glass house which was very very hot but well worth it.

We took lots of photos I hope they give a good idea of what we saw.
